Well today would have been Shannon's 9th Birthday. And what fune we would have had. But it wasn't meant to be so....I hope you had a great day in heaven my little man....

Nearly forgot to tell ya all....University is out .....No more tute's...no more lectures.....LOL
Still have assignments and an exam to do..2 clinical placements and then we are free.........Woohooo..........
What a trip its been
Well another month nearly gone. Lorraine and Pete's wedding was a huge success and everyone had a ball.
Been busy stitching out heaps of blocks for some embroidered quilts they will look awesome. LOL
Well obviously I haven't been in for a while, but that doesn't mean I have been lazy...LOL
We had a quilt drop at the Hospital for Easter well just after Easter because I was really crook and didn't want to make the patients any worse then they already are.
University is on break at the moment and I have been taking it pretty easy.....Going to be a bridesmaid for my darling friend Lorraine in August and am pretty excited about all that.....LOL
Couple of weeks ago we did a drop at another Hospital in the Day Hospice section the pateints loved their quilts, and the girls have started on some more quilts already.

Both of those things are a bit blah......
Today my beloved Dad would have been 75 years old...so Happy Birthday Dad..and yes you would have been given a bottle of booze....LOL
and today ( this afternoon) my best bud Sharon's darling FIL Mario will be buried...he passed away on boxing day...I am sure he will be missed by many..

Well after many hours of playing with the website I think I am almost happy with it.
DH John gave me money for Christmas so i bought myself a heap of fabric and 5 kits...the fabric will be for Shan's Army...and the first kit i started i was going to make for myself, than I thought there will be soemone that will appreciate it more than me so of course that too will go to Shan's Army..LOL
Been doing a few stitcheries as well thinking about colouring them in...

We are a group of volunteers that make quilts for people living with cancer.Although we are a very tiny group we have donated 162 quilts,over 100 cushions,Christmas Hampers and many more items to kids and adults living with cancer.
Our latest drop was on December 23rd to the local hospital palliative care unit.The quilts were welcomed by everyone well so were we...LOL
Anyway when i start to talk i tend to ramble so i will leave it there for now.
